There are two types of All Weather furniture, the first type is made with a metal frame then wrapped with resin. The second type is made with an aluminum frame that is then wrapped with resin. You may ask yourself, What is resin? Resin is categorized as “Synthetic Wicker” or “All Weather Wicker”. Resin is a durable all weather material that is ultra-violet and mildew resistant, which makes this material ideal for outdoor furniture.  The UV elements that are incorporated in the resin production give this product a fade resistant characteristic. 

The frame can be made out of metal or aluminum. The metal is considered a lower quality frame. Eventually when water penetrates the frame, the metal will begin to rust. Your only benefit is the price. The aluminum is heavy gauge and the joints are welded together. This makes the frame incredibly strong, secure and resistant to corrosion.  Once the aluminum frame is assembled, the aluminum is then treated with a powder coating. The powder coating is applied to the entire frame and the finish product is a frame that is hard, abrasion resistant and tough. 

We have confidence with the aluminum frame and therefore, we are able to give a 3 year limited warranty.
